THE ABSOLUTE PHYSIOCARE COMMITMENT TO HEALTH AND SAFETY STANDARD

Our Absolute Commitment

Absolute PhysioCare is committed to ensuring the highest standards of safety at all times, but even more so during COVID-19. We have redesigned our clinic to ensure you and our team safe.

We have developed new Health and Safety policies and procedures in line with Public Health Authorities guidelines and our college’s directives. Personal protective equipment (masks, gloves, face shields), hand hygiene practices, disinfecting protocols, visual markers on the floor to maintain physical distancing and staggering appointments to reduce the number of clients coming in at once as well as screening clients, staff and therapists for COVID-19 are essential for all our safety.

If you have a fever, are taking medications to reduce a fever, have a cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19 in the last 14 days, please reschedule your appointment, self-isolate and contact your doctor.

Your health is our number one priority. Let’s stay safe and remember that physical distancing and hand washing are our best protection.Arrival Time – Please arrive for your appointment on time (do not come early).  If you come early you can wait outside (before entering the main hallway) weather permitting or in your car.

  • Optional: Self-check in – There will be a link on your email appointment reminders as well as a poster in the hallway for you to check in when you arrive so that we know you are here.  https://absolutephysiocare.janeapp.com/checkin
  • When you arrive at the clinic – Please wait in the hallway and you will see visual markers on where to stand.  Do not enter the clinic until your therapist comes to greet you.
  • Hand washing – You will need to wash your hands at our hand washing station prior to your treatment
  • Masks – All staff, therapists and clients are required to wear masks at all times.  Please wear your mask in the hallway when we come to receive you.  If you do not have a mask you can purchase one for $1.
  • Physical Distancing – We will have signs as well as markers on the floor to assist you on where you should stand so that physical distancing is kept.  Please abide by these markers as we want everyone to have a safe experience at the clinic.
  • Plexiglass Divider – Our front desk has plexiglass shields to protect you and our medical team
  • Come alone – Do not bring anyone with you unless they are providing assistance.  Please inform the front desk BEFORE your appointment if you need to bring someone with you.  This will allow us to accommodate you and prepare for your visit.
  • Limited use of washrooms – We advise to use the washroom at home prior to your appointment to minimize exposure and contact.
  • Water dispenser – Unfortunately, we will not be able to provide drinking water at the clinic during this time.

After your session:

  • Hand washing – You will need to wash your hands at our hand washing station after your session.
  • Booking your next appointment – Our therapist will book your next session in your treatment room before you leave. If you are unsure about your availability not a problem, you can always contact us by phone at 604-558-2273 or use our online booking system.
  • Sanitizing – Proper cleaning of treatment tables and equipment will be done using Canadian approved COVID-19 disinfectants.
  • Contactless Payment – We are not accepting cash or debit card payments at this time.  We ask that you keep an active credit card on file so that we can settle any payments in a contactless way using Payfirma. Payfirma is PCI compliant (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) and uses the same 128-bit encryption as the big banks around the world.  We will process your credit card on file and your receipt will be emailed to you.
